Learn Moure About Our Organization

Building a Community
The founding board members of this organization include two stroke victims who had received upper cervical manipulation shortly before they survived debilitating strokes. Please refer to the Our Stories page of this website to learn about their experiences with chiropractic care and the strokes they suffered, as well as their commitments to preventing this from happening to others.

Our organization consists of stroke survivors, and family members of stroke victims who did not survive, as well as physicians, chiropractors, attorneys and others who share our quest to prevent the debilitating and sometimes fatal outcomes of strokes induced by upper cervical manipulations often performed as part of many chiropractic treatment plans. However, it is important to note that there are chiropractors who do not perform the risky technique associated with arterial dissections and strokes, and some of these healthcare providers are helping to raise awareness and mandate informed consent. We welcome inquiries and participation from others who are interested in becoming part of our community. If you are a stroke survivor or family member, we urge you to participate and connect with others who can truly empathize with what you have endured. If you are a chiropractor who is seeking to implement important procedural and clinical changes, including Informed Consent that may prevent debilitating injury to your patients or if you are someone who simply wishes to raise awareness of this issue and help to prevent others from being injured, we welcome your participation.
